U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders announced that he was dropping out of the race for the Democrat nomination for president.

Apparently his message of turning America into a socialist state didn’t fly even within the Democrat Party.

His departure makes former Vice President Joe Biden the presumptive Democrat to face President Donald Trump in November.

But questions remain.

Why is Sanders holding on to his delegates?

Why is Sanders keeping his name on the ballot in states that have not yet held primaries?

Could it be that Sanders wants to wait in the wings in case Biden falters? Biden’s age has provoked serious questions about his mental and physical capabilities. Every time he speaks he makes mistakes that make even loyal Democrats shudder.

With Biden as the presumptive candidate, why did it take so long for former President Barack Hussein Obama to formally endorse Biden?

Could it be that Obama secretly felt that Biden could exit the race sometime this summer and that Obama has a favorite to replace him?

Could it be that Obama fears that Biden could be elected and do such a poor job that it reflects back on the Democrats and Obama personally?

Having a presumptive candidate usually spells momentum. Right now, chaos seems to reign with the Democrats.
