The Oklahoma Sooners are ranked No. 4 in the nation in the Coaches Top 25 Preseason Poll.

Defending national champion Clemson is ranked No. 1 and Alabama and Georgia are Nos. 2 and 3.

From the Big 12, Texas is No. 10, and Iowa State is No. 24. West Virginia, Oklahoma State, TCU and Baylor received votes but didn’t make the Top 25.

Eight of Oklahoma’s opponents were either ranked or received votes. Six OSU opponents were ranked or got votes.

Central Florida from the American Athletic Conference is tied with Wisconsin at No. 17. Also from the AAC, Cincinnati, Memphis and Houston got votes.

Tulsa will play No. 20 Michigan State plus vote-getters OSU, UCF, Houston, Cincinnati and Memphis.
