Stuart Park, located at 1400 N. Gilcrease Museum Road, will be closed during construction at Gilcrease Museum, as access to the park and parking area is no longer safe for the public.

“The safety of visitors and construction crews are the top priority during construction,” Anna America, Chief of Culture and Recreation, Parks Director said. “The city and Flintco will assess if opening the park is possible at a later stage of the project.”

In addition to the new building, plans for the Gilcrease campus include 14 miles of new walking/bike trails that will ultimately connect with trail networks throughout the city, increasing access to Gilcrease, nature, and the community. The city anticipates the new Gilcrease museum to be complete by the end of 2024.
