Los Angeles has the “most aggressive” drivers and California has four of the Top 10 aggressive drivers on a national list compiled by GasBuddy.com.

According to the report, cities including Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Sacramento are 21 percent more aggressive than the average driver in the United States.

Four of the top 10 cities with the most aggressive drivers are in California, including Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Francisco and San Diego The most frequent aggressive driving habit is “hard braking.” Drivers are 1.2 times more likely to encounter aggressive driving on a Friday than on a Wednesday.

GasBuddy compiled data from the top 30 metropolitan areas by population as defined by the U.S Census Bureau from November 2018 – February 2019, noting the frequency of an aggressive event while driving, whether it be speeding, hard braking or accelerating.
