Racial conflict is injected everywhere in modern culture.

The concept of a “color blind America” has been lost because of trouble that is constantly being stirred up by those who would destroy our nation (Marxists in particular).

Former NBA player Jalen Rose, now a ESPN broadcaster, is objecting to the addition of Kevin Love, who is white, to the USA Olympic basketball team because he was given that slot to get a “token white guy” on an otherwise all black team.

Really?

Rose said on ESPN that Love should be dumped and replaced by Deandre Ayton, who is black.

Rose wants an all-black team because he apparently feels there are no white NBA players good enough to play in the Olympics.

This is not a case of black players being picked or not being picked for spots. In fact, the 2016 U.S. Olympic squad only had black players.

Love did not have his best season in 2020-21 but he still averaged 12.2 points a game with 7.4 rebounds. Love is one of only two white players to have made the Olympics since 1996 (the other was former Utah Jazz star John Stockton).

So Rose and his buddies who are making everything about blacks against whites find it objectionable that a white player from the predominantly black NBA is going to the Olympics.

This kind of commentary is par for the course for ultra-progressive ESPN, which is spending more time on liberal orthodoxy than covering actual sports.

Imagine if the USA Olympic team had all white players and a white commentator complained about the addition of a single black player.

Black and white players get along well in the NBA. It’s too back that ESPN tries to stir up trouble.
