If President Trump found a cure for cancer, the talking heads at MSNBC and CNN would accuse him of not telling people 10 years ago.

When President Trump announced America’s plans to battle the coronavirus on March 13, CNN’s spotlight was on the lack of millions of test kits instead of Trump’s marshalling of public and private sources to provide the needed kits.

The left won’t let an opportunity to criticize Trump pass by even in the midst of a worldwide medical crisis. The reporters at the March 13 press conference kept asking Trump if he was infected. They did this knowing that the president of the United States – whoever it is – has the best team of medical doctors in the world.

The mainstream media harshly criticized Trump for taking a balanced view – one that discouraged panic yet encouraged common sense preparation on medically proven hygiene.

Had it been Obama instead of Trump, CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, the Washington Post and the New York Times would have been singing his praises.

Trump stopped travel from China early on and that potentially saved thousands of American lives. The same with Europe. His press conferences have emphasized Americans pulling together and the great track record of the USA when we have faced similar challenges.

In the Democrat debate on March 15, Sen. Bernie Sanders couldn’t bring himself to encourage American teamwork and instead said Trump should be forced to “shut up.”

But even the liberal governor of New York acknowledged that Trump was moving swiftly to organize a response to the pandemic. That’s because Gov. Andrew Cuomo was more interested in helping his citizens than bashing Trump.

We need to pull together. Sanders and his ilk should be the ones to shut up.
