The TU Department of Theatre will present the musical Man of La Mancha, October 18-21 and 25-27. Based on the book by Miguel de Cervantes, the original Broadway production, written by Dale Wasserman with music by Mitch Leigh and Joe Darion, won multiple Tony Awards.
Performed in the Commedia dell’arte style with actors playing multiple characters in mask, this production takes Don Quixote back to his roots as he tilts at giants (windmills) and travels on his quest for the Impossible Dream.
Performances will take place in Kendall Hall, on the TU Campus. Shows begin at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for senior citizens and area students, and $6 for TU students, faculty and staff. Local high school students receive one free ticket with I.D. Seating is limited.
