[Tulsa, OK July 13, 2026] – Tulsa Foundation for Architecture will host its bi-annual

Tulsa Underground Tunnel Tours on Saturday, August 8th. Ticketed tours will occur in fifteen-minute intervals from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with nearly 1,000 people exploring tunnel tours that day. Tulsa Foundation for Architecture has exclusive Saturday access to the Tulsa Underground Tunnels.

Buried beneath downtown Tulsa, a system of secret underground tunnels was built to connect many of Tulsa’s early skyscrapers. The tunnel system was designed at first for freight, but soon became a millionaires’ highway, protecting the wealthy and elite from danger. Tour goers will hear fascinating stories from Tulsa’s oil boom while exploring notable Tulsa buildings without ever stepping outside.
