The Tulsa Veterans Day Parade will celebrate the 100th anniversary of one of the largest Veterans Day parades in the country.
As part of the all-day events on November 12, Tulsa VFW Chapter 577, 1109 East 6th Street, host a number of post-parade activities that are free and open to the public.
The official parade awards ceremony is at 3 p.m., followed by an afternoon and evening of live music. Taking the stage at 3:30 p.m., The Travelers, a Tulsa acoustic band, will play a selection of original music and classic tunes. From 5-7 p.m. will be Tulsa jazz musician Joesf Glaude and Guitars Gone Wild. Danny Perdieu, Nashville singer/songwriter and pianist will perform from 7-9 p.m. Rounding out the evening will be Darrell Lee Hopper, a country music singer/songwriter.
