The liberal Tulsa World has endorsed State Rep. Sheila Dills, R-Jenks, in the June 30 District 69 primary and blasted her opponent, Angela Strohm, R-Jenks.

That alone is enough  cause to cast a vote for Angela Strohm.

For two years, Dills has had one goal – grow government. She enthusiastically voted for the largest tax increase in state history. Under her stewardship, the state budget has gotten so big that the current downturn in revenues due to the coronavirus could prompt a budget collapse or another giant tax increase.

The Tulsa World calls Dills “conservative” but she scored a 43 out of 100 on the conserve index. That’s not “conservative” and it’s pitiful for a registered Republican.

The good citizens of District 69 can do so much better.

Angela Strohm, wife of former Rep. Chuck Strohm, is a genuine conservative Republican who believes in smaller, more efficient government. That is really important given the economic mess caused by the coronavirus.

Angela Strohm has been a licensed teacher for over 25 years and has taught in public and private schools in both Texas and Oklahoma. Her children have attended public and private schools in Oklahoma.

Angela Strohm believes that Oklahoma families can best decide how to educate their children. Public schools should educate, not indoctrinate with liberal ideology.

Angela Strohm is a supporter of both healthy public schools and will fight for the protection and expansion of school choice options.

Angela Strohm will fight to end the murder of unborn children because she believes that every life is a gift from God and must be protected.  She will defend your right to keep and bear arms.

The Tulsa World is desperate to keep liberal Democrats who ran as “conservative Republicans” in office.

This is an important seat.

No registered Democrat filed so the winner of the primary between Angela Strohm and Dills wins the seat.

The Tulsa Beacon strongly endorses conservative Christian Angela Strohm in the June 30 primary because District 69 deserves better representation.
