On December 13, the nonprofit Circle Cinema presents the 1954 musical/comedy White Christmas. In addition to regular film screenings, there will be special sing-along screenings with trivia and live Christmas music played on Circle Cinema’s original 1928 theatre pipe organ for select screenings.
A regular engagement of White Christmas film screenings (non sing-along) begins December 13 and continue through December 24. Those screenings will be offered at regular ticket prices ($6.50-$9.50). Veterans can attend at no charge.
Additional White Christmas sing-along shows will be added by popular demand. Tickets: Students & Circle Cinema members $10, general tickets $12.50.
The sing-along show is at 7:30 p.m. December 13 and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. December 14.
Pre-show trivia, sing-along accouterments and a free Christmas bell will be given at all sing-along screenings, once again hosted by Circle Cinema board member Jody McIntyre.
Irving Berlin’s musical favorite follows the talented song-and-dance team of Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye, who join forces with the sister act of Rosemary Clooney and Vera Ellen for a musical Christmas in Vermont.
