On Super Tuesday (March 3), vote yes for President Donald Trump and no on opening liquor stores on Sunday.

President Trump has exceeded all expectations in many areas. Perhaps his greatest impact is the appointment of federal judges who follow the U.S. Constitution rather than progressive politics.

Trump is attacking our bad trade policies. Even the Democrats voted for replacement of the terrible NAFTA agreement with Canada and Mexico. He has negotiated trade concessions from Communist China and his talks with North Korea could soon bear fruit.

Trump is staying true to his campaign promise of closing our southern border to illegal entry and the building of a wall.

The stock market is soaring. More than half the people of America have money in the markets (due to retirement plans) and they are seeing sustained growth.

Unemployment is at a record low, especially among minority groups Wages are up. Businesses are returning their plants to America. Taxes are lower.

Trump should get more than nine of 10 votes in the Oklahoma primary.

Do we really need liquor stores to be open on Sunday? Many liquor store owners don’t want to be open because it won’t create any new customers but it will add to operational expense.

Someone desperate for a drink can already buy cold beer or wine at QuikTrip or a grocery store. Is it really a hardship to wait until Monday morning to buy booze?

Oklahoma has liberalized its liquors but this needs to end.

The Tulsa Beacon endorses President Donald Trump in the March 3 primary and urges Tulsa County citizens to vote no on Sunday hours for liquor stores.
